My Summer Dream

A chair

You watched me there

Water at my feet

I was dancing happily

Among coniferous trees

Bare feet on the velvet grass

Magic in the air

Birds were singing joyfully

Making us home there

Here in the courtyard

We had the sweetest dream

Everything seemed possible

Fantasies felt real

You were fondly watching me

I did it all for you

Dancing with my poetry

To say that I love you…

Beautiful Words

Beautiful words always come from your heart,

Sometimes they are hidden deep-deep inside,

Sometimes on the surface they are shining so bright,

It even can seem that they make you bit blind.

Beautiful words… some are hidden in pain,

Getting through it might be an event.

Sharing your feelings… Sometimes it is hard,

Especially when you are lost in your doubts.

Beautiful words might seem not good enough,

Fear is covering truth from your eyes…

Too scared to believe in it, cause you’ve been hurt –

You don’t want to listen and can’t find right words…

Beautiful words can be your healing balm,

Something that makes you feel safe, nice and warm,

Something that shows what you feel or have felt,

Something that can help your icy heart melt…

Beautiful words… they need to be shared –

Life is too short to always be scared…

Reach out and share your beautiful words –

Kindness is magic for those who need love…

Your words can change future – save somebody’s life,

Making the darkness shine brightly from light…

Beautiful words… they are always your choice –

Speak from your heart with your full of love voice…

Beautiful words are what all people need –

Use beautiful words and you’ll always succeed.

Life and Death

Tonight she’s forced to say goodbye.

Another flower bloomed and died,

Another story reached its end –

There’s no one here. No tears to shed.

A new beginning soon will come,

Another sparkle will shine bright,

Another flower, story, life –

One more hello… one more goodbye.

It happened way too many times –

She’s breathing in and breathing out,

Watching people come and go –

She’s not allowed to get involved…

These moments in between of lives,

Black void of silence when Death comes,

So fleeting – never long enough –

Oh how she misses his dark eyes…

Twelve midnight beats is all she has

To spend with her beloved sweet Death –

One kiss to share and one embrace,

One precious moment – it’s not fair.

Love story between Life and Death,

Forbidden pleasure that they share –

A tiny secret of this world

As everything is ruled by Love…

Broken Doll

I’m a broken doll –

I can dance no more,

I’m a broken doll –

I can sing no more,

I’m a broken doll –

I can’t draw or paint,

I’m a broken doll –

And can only wait…

I’m a broken doll –

You won’t see me smile,

I’m a broken doll,

Who wants to have life…

I’m a broken doll –

Every move is pain,

I’m a broken doll

And I’m thrown away…

I’m a broken doll,

But I still have faith,

I’m a broken doll –

I am weak, but brave…

I’m a broken doll

And I’m scared to live,

I’m a broken doll,

But I still believe…

I’m a broken doll –

I have broken heart,

I’m a broken doll

And I’m torn apart…

I’m a broken doll,

But I want to move,

I’m a broken doll

And I know the truth…

I’m a broken doll,

But I still can choose,

I’m a broken doll

And  I can be muse…

I’m a broken doll,

But I still can write,

I’m a broken doll,

And I still can fight.

I’m a broken doll,

But I’m full of hope,

I’m a broken doll

And I will evolve…

I’m a broken doll –

Broken soul with wings,

I’m a broken doll –

Broken heart still stings…

I’m a broken doll –

I’ve seen many things,

I’m a broken doll,

But time really heals…

I’m a broken doll

And I want to live,

I’m a broken doll –

It’s a curse and bliss…

I’m a broken doll –

I send you a kiss,

Cause a broken doll

Is the one you’ll miss…

Snowflake Butterfly

Once upon a time there lived a butterfly…

Twas sparkly, shiny, bright,

Made from snow… all white.

Flying in the air, trembling from the cold,

Dancing… vibrant colors reflected rays of gold.

Gliding in frosty air, starting her journey there,

Reflecting all shades of the light and still remaining pure white…

Ivory fragile treasure… her life seemed to be full of pleasure,

But no one has seen her eyes and no one knows what she hides,

A story that is full of pain and one day was washed with the rain…

It was her first year of life… all was so colorful, shiny and bright,

She saw many things outside –

Some were dark… some were full of light…

And then she met her first love, flying so high above,

He was gorgeous and full of strength – they discovered emotional depths,

That none of them ever has seen – that was beyond her dreams…

Back then love was full of pleasure so much that it couldn’t be measured,

Flying with him in the sky was totally something divine…

It didn’t last very long, because most of the winter was already gone,

And you know what happens in spring, when everything starts to stream,

Blossom as sun’s getting warm – that was the time their love was gone…

No it did not disappear – I still believe it’s somewhere here,

But spring torn their lives apart, melted with rays of sunlight

The beautiful butterflies’ love…

They faded and flew in the air, crying with rain here and there,

Waiting for winter to come so that they will become one…

Need I say that didn’t happen? Because the whole year they both were scattered

In different parts of the world and it was so hard to keep hope…

When winter came they didn’t meet.

She was searching for him on full speed, whole winter without any rest,

She did it for five or ten years…

And hoped that he searched for her too… she still doesn’t have any news.

And stopped searching him for a while, getting used to this kind of exile…

It was too painful to do it again, when so many times all her efforts were vain,

She chose to enjoy this life, dancing and waiting for love.

She still hopes one day they will meet and though this love is bitter-sweet,

She wouldn’t just let it go… not until he will show.

She hides all this pain in her eyes, expressing herself in this dance,

Missing those lovely sweet times, she’s wearing a perfect disguise…

You should remember her color, I once said it was snow-white,

Ivory, ghost-white, vanilla… you know how it tastes, right?

It’s sweet, but can also be bitter and so is her love and her life,

I still see her flying so freely, enjoying her magical dance…

She travels around every winter and still keeps those hope in her heart.

One day she will finally find him? I hope so… He’s love of her life.

Coffee tanka

Woke up to your scent.

Sweet refreshing bitterness,

Hot touch on my lips –

I’m giving in willingly,

Your taste slowly fills me in…

Poetry

You know how it happens –
First love, bright stars,
Pale moon
too soon
I lose my mind,
Becoming blind.

Absolute faith
No mistakes
High stakes
Heart breaks
And there’s just you,
My only Truth,
Even though I am confused
I keep following my Muse…
